Our purpose
ArtCraft Tutorial Guide helps people make informed choices about PhotoCraft and open creative software. We focus on useful questions: what a tool can do, where its verified releases live, which limitations matter, and what to check before trusting a file workflow.
PhotoCraft is our first subject. Future coverage may include other Crafting Apps and related open-source tools, when there is a clear user question and enough evidence to answer it. We publish a small number of maintained resources rather than pages for every keyword.
Independent identity
ArtCraft Tutorial Guide is an independent resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the official ArtCraft project or StoryTold, PhotoCraft, Adobe, or their respective owners.
Our site's name and visual identity are our own. Links to a publisher identify sources and official downloads. They do not imply a partnership, sponsorship or endorsement. This guide is not an official support channel.
Editorial standards
We check primary sources first: the official product page, repository, release notes, versioned documentation and relevant issues. We identify the application and repository before describing a feature. PhotoCraft and ArtCraft's AI studio are separate products.
Each resource shows its publication, update and verification dates. Updated means the page changed; verified means its claims were checked against the listed sources. A fresh page date does not make an old compatibility assessment current.
We use four evidence labels:
- Officially documented: a claim appears in the cited primary source. It is attributed to the publisher.
- Independently tested: we executed a reproducible test and retained the environment, input, procedure and result. No launch resource currently carries this label.
- Not yet verified: sufficient evidence is unavailable. We describe the uncertainty instead of filling it with a guess.
- Known limitation: a cited source or retained test records a problem. We name the applicable version and avoid assuming the problem remains in a later build.
Software versions and evidence
A main-branch README, a tagged release and a website can change independently. We keep release snapshots with their check time and link directly to official entries. When a roadmap evaluates an older version, we say so. We do not convert an upstream corpus result into our own test, average unrelated compatibility scores, or infer that a closed issue is fixed in every release.
For future independent tests, our evidence record will include the software versions, operating system, hardware where relevant, original test files, steps, expected behavior and actual results. Claims without that record remain officially documented or unverified.
Corrections and feedback
For a correction, include the page URL, the claim, a primary source and the software version it concerns.
An editorial contact channel is not configured yet. Until one is published here, this site cannot receive correction requests directly. No placeholder email address is provided.
For an application bug, use the official PhotoCraft issue tracker and follow the project's reporting rules. A product bug and a correction to this guide are different requests. Never include credentials, client artwork or private documents in a public report.
Trademarks and source material
Product names belong to their respective owners and are used to identify the software discussed. PhotoCraft's repository describes MIT OR Apache-2.0 licensing for its code; bundled assets and branding can have separate conditions. See the official attribution file before reusing any material.
This site does not distribute application binaries or use official product logos as its own identity. Our summaries are original editorial writing, accompanied by links readers can check themselves.
Analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, the guides people read and the links they follow. Analytics can receive page URLs, titles, browser and device information, and referral information. We do not configure Google signals or personalized advertising for this guide.
Analytics cookie storage starts off. You can allow it, keep it off, or change your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Our first-party preference cookie remembers that choice for one year. With analytics cookies off, Google consent mode can still send limited measurements without cookies; see Google's consent mode documentation for how this works.
Google Search Console reports this site's performance in Google Search. It uses a DNS ownership verification record and does not add a visitor tracking script to these pages.
